These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of norixen.ca (the “Website”), including project-enquiry forms, photo-estimate requests, file uploads, and other Website features made available by Norixen Group Inc. (“Norixen,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.
Norixen is the public-facing name of Norixen Group Inc. The Website presents information about residential interior design and specialized design-and-build services, including custom cabinetry, kitchens, storage, media walls, 3D visualization, construction, fitting, and installation across selected Metro Vancouver service areas.
Service availability depends on project type, location, schedule, site conditions, trade requirements, and Norixen’s written acceptance of the work.
Website content is provided for general information and initial project planning. Photographs, visualizations, diagrams, articles, examples, dimensions, timelines, material descriptions, cost discussions, and service summaries are illustrative unless a written project agreement states otherwise.
Website content does not constitute:
Project-specific decisions require review of the actual site, requirements, products, dimensions, applicable rules, and agreed scope.
Submitting a form, uploading files, requesting a photo estimate, booking a consultation, or communicating with Norixen does not by itself create a client relationship or require Norixen to accept a project.
We may request additional photographs, measurements, plans, product details, a site visit, a paid consultation, or other information before deciding whether to provide an estimate or proposal.
A binding project relationship begins only when the applicable written estimate, proposal, design agreement, construction agreement, installation agreement, change order, or other project document has been accepted in the manner stated in that document and any required payment conditions have been satisfied.
These Website Terms govern use of the Website. Each accepted project must be governed by a separate written agreement defining the project-specific terms, which may include:
If these Website Terms conflict with an accepted project agreement, the project agreement controls for that project, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
An estimate based on photographs, approximate dimensions, plans, or preliminary information is not a final price unless it is expressly identified as a binding quote in an accepted written agreement.
Pricing may change when:
No additional project work should proceed without the approval required by the applicable project agreement and current law.
You agree that information submitted to Norixen will be accurate to the best of your knowledge. You are responsible for promptly identifying relevant conditions and restrictions, including:
Project-specific client responsibilities will be stated in the applicable agreement. Norixen may rely on information supplied by you or your authorized representatives unless verification is included in our scope.
You may submit photographs, plans, drawings, product lists, inspiration images, and related project files only if you have the right to do so.
You represent that your submissions:
You grant Norixen a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, reproduce, review, annotate, and share submitted materials with authorized service providers and project participants as reasonably necessary to evaluate your enquiry or provide an approved service. This permission does not authorize public portfolio or marketing use. Any public use of identifiable project materials should be governed by separate permission.
Renderings and 3D visualizations are planning tools. Screen settings, lighting, product variation, material batches, natural grain, fabrication tolerances, installation conditions, and other factors may cause the finished result to differ from a digital representation.
Unless an accepted agreement states otherwise:
Norixen’s obligations for revisions, measurements, drawings, approvals, and final deliverables are limited to the accepted project scope.
Existing spaces may contain uneven surfaces, non-square corners, concealed services, damaged substrates, undocumented changes, inaccessible areas, or other conditions that are not visible during an initial review.
Where an unexpected condition affects safety, feasibility, quality, cost, or schedule, Norixen may pause the affected work until the condition is reviewed and the parties agree on the appropriate response. Additional work, materials, specialist review, or revised scheduling may be required.
The client is responsible for providing safe, timely, and lawful access as defined in the project agreement, including necessary permissions and a reasonably clear work area.
Product images and descriptions belong to their respective owners. Availability, pricing, lead times, specifications, colour, grain, finish, and warranty terms may change without notice.
References to IKEA or any other manufacturer, supplier, product, or platform are descriptive. They do not imply an official partnership, endorsement, dealership, or certification unless Norixen states that relationship in writing and is authorized to do so.
Third-party products and work may be governed by the supplier’s, manufacturer’s, installer’s, consultant’s, or trade’s own terms and warranties. Norixen is not responsible for independent acts, delays, defects, or failures of third parties except to the extent responsibility is expressly accepted in a project agreement or imposed by law.
Electrical, plumbing, structural, gas, fireplace, permitting, or other regulated work must be handled or approved by appropriately qualified persons where required.
Website timelines and typical durations are estimates only. Project schedules may be affected by approvals, deposits, site readiness, material availability, manufacturing, delivery, client decisions, change requests, building access, inspections, weather, emergencies, labour availability, or third-party work.
The applicable project agreement should state how scheduling, delays, rescheduling, suspension, and force-majeure events are handled. Norixen does not guarantee a start or completion date unless that commitment is expressly stated in writing.
Project fees, taxes, deposits, payment milestones, cancellation rights, refund treatment, and consequences of late or failed payment must be stated in the applicable project agreement and administered in accordance with current law.
Nothing in these Terms limits a cancellation, refund, disclosure, or other right that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable consumer-protection legislation. Website visitors should not rely on these Terms as the complete payment or cancellation policy for a project.
Unless otherwise stated, the Website and its original content—including text, layout, graphics, branding, photography, video, illustrations, renderings, and design elements—are owned by or licensed to Norixen and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
You may view the Website and print or save reasonable portions for personal, non-commercial project consideration. You may not, without prior written permission:
Ownership and permitted use of project-specific drawings, renderings, specifications, and design deliverables must be stated in the applicable project agreement. Payment for a service does not automatically transfer all underlying intellectual-property rights.
You must not use the Website to:
We may restrict or block access where reasonably necessary to protect the Website, Norixen, our service providers, or others.
The Website may link to product pages, suppliers, maps, social networks, booking tools, payment services, or other third-party resources. Links are provided for convenience and do not necessarily represent endorsement.
Norixen does not control third-party content, availability, security, privacy practices, pricing, or terms. Your use of third-party services is governed by your agreement with the applicable provider.
We aim to keep the Website accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted, current, complete, secure, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Website and its general content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without representations, warranties, or conditions not expressly stated in an accepted written agreement.
This disclaimer does not exclude any representation, warranty, condition, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Norixen and its directors, officers, employees, and authorized service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential losses arising solely from use of or inability to use the Website, third-party links, general Website content, or an unaccepted enquiry.
Where liability connected only to the Website cannot be excluded, Norixen’s aggregate liability will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid specifically to access the Website and CAD $100, except where a different limitation is required by law.
Project-related liability must be addressed in the applicable project agreement. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including any rights or remedies available under applicable consumer-protection law.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Norixen against third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the Website, infringement through materials you submit, or material breach of these Terms.
This section does not apply to the extent a claim results from Norixen’s own conduct or where the indemnity is prohibited by law.
Our collection, use, disclosure, retention, and protection of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy. By submitting information, you confirm that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy and are authorized to provide the information and files submitted.
These Terms are intended to operate alongside applicable law, including British Columbia consumer-protection requirements. They do not waive, reduce, or replace any statutory right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.
Home-renovation and other future-performance, distance-sales, or consumer contracts may be subject to specific disclosure, delivery, cancellation, and refund requirements. Those requirements must be addressed in Norixen’s actual sales and project-contract process, not only on this Website page.
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in British Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Subject to any mandatory consumer right or another dispute process agreed in writing, disputes relating solely to these Website Terms will be brought before the courts of British Columbia, and the parties attorn to those courts.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Website, services, business practices, or law. The updated version will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date. Changes apply prospectively from publication unless applicable law requires another form of notice or consent.
If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms do not create a partnership, employment, agency, fiduciary, or joint-venture relationship between you and Norixen.
